TIME TO END THE WAR – “Charity Begins at Home”

My opponent recently held a press conference that shifted from discussing Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visit to the Oval Office to his real agenda—another attempt to impeach President Donald Trump for the third time.

Let me be clear: I am running for Congress in Texas’ 9th District because our representation should not be focused on political witch hunts. Your congressman should be PARTNERING for you—from Telephone Road to Old Spanish Trail to Missouri City—not playing the role of a prosecutor trying to remove an elected president.

Billions for Ukraine, But What About America?

Congress has appropriated $174.2 billion through multiple Ukraine aid packages from FY 2022 through FY 2024:

  • $163.6 billion allocated for military operations, government support, and war efforts
  • $10.6 billion designated for humanitarian purposes
  • Another $19.1 billion pulled from agency and supplemental funds

This money has been spent on:
Military aid to Ukraine, including replenishing U.S. military stockpiles
Increased U.S. troop presence in Europe
Support for Ukraine’s government and economic stability

Meanwhile, American families are struggling. Instead of funneling hundreds of billions overseas, these funds could be used to:
Eliminate student loan debt for hardworking Americans
Fully fund public schools and ensure quality education for all
Secure Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security for seniors and those in need
Lower grocery prices and combat inflation that is crushing middle-class families
Reduce our national debt, stopping the endless cycle of government waste

America First: No More Blank Checks for War

We must stop funding endless foreign wars while ignoring the crisis at home. The American people deserve leaders who prioritize their needs over foreign conflicts. As your congressman, I will PARTNER to:

  • End the blank check for Ukraine and demand transparency on where taxpayer money is going
  • Refocus our spending on domestic priorities—education, healthcare, public safety,Medicare, Medicaid, social security and a common sense immigration policy
  • Push for lower costs of living by addressing inflation and reckless government spending

It’s time to put America First. Let’s stop funding a proxy war and start funding American families.
