Federal Spending

I strongly believe that the government cannot continue printing money to fund spending without ensuring a clear return on investment for our nation. The growing federal deficit should not be a burden passed down to future generations. We cannot sustain an endless cycle of debt—it is simply too costly, and managing it has become one of the largest expenditures of the federal government.

That said, the government has essential responsibilities. It must maintain a strong national defense, provide disaster relief, uphold Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid, invest in critical infrastructure, ensure access to clean water and air, and support vital services in partnership with the states.

Fiscal responsibility must be a priority. We must ensure that taxpayer dollars are spent efficiently, striking a balance between financial sustainability and meeting the fundamental needs of the American people.
